The USTA recommends all coaches complete the Safe Play Process. The Administrators recently added a link to the Safe Play website within the SCHOOLS and COMMUNITY categories.
The link is located under 'Online Courses' but it's not an actual course so it does not show in the user's transcript nor does it move to completion. It simply takes the user directly to the appropriate website. Please use the below SR to assist users with navigating to the 'course' and to direct users to the Safe Play contact should they have inquiries.
IMPORTANT! Should a user be inquiring about Safe Play within the USTA Coaching Fundamentals instead of Schools or Community, please use the Safe Play (USTA COACHING FUNDAMENTALS) SR, as Safe Play within the USTA Coaching Fundamentals is an actual course with instructions. |
Internal Note: The Admins are currently working on setting the Safe Play course as a prerequisite for all the courses or enrollments in the CLC but it is not set as of right now. |

To be taken directly to the Safe Play page, kindly do the following:
1. Log into your Coach Learning Center account via the following link: https://lrc.learn.taleo.net/coachdevelopment
2. Click either the SCHOOLS or COMMUNITY button.
3. Under ONLINE COURSES, kindly click the LAUNCH button below the title: SAFE PLAY [see image below]
For guidance on becoming Safe Play approved, the Administrators asked that you please contact SafePlay@usta.com directly. Please note that the Safe Play located in the Schools or Community catalogs course does not grant completion or a certificate, so it will not show in your transcript. If you are looking to earn a completion for Safe Play in the CLC, you will need to access the Level 1 Coach catalog version for further instructions.
